Review:
At first, I thought that it was a café but they have lots of alcoholic beverages so I think I was wrong, later did I know that it is a coffee shop, beer bar, and restaurant in one. The queue to the place was long (we waited around 20 minutes) but it was understandable because
1. They need to follow health protocols so only 50% capacity and
2. There is a social media hype about the place so people are interested to check and try the new place.
They have 2 sitting options, 1st at the roof of the container van that looks so cute and 2nd at the back of the container vans under the shade of trees (plastic chairs and tables).
Music ads up to the vibes of a place, It would be a lot cozier if the music fits the nature vibes. I’m not asking for ambient music, not just sa classroom may batas, catriona, and the likes. Would be better if the volume was low allowing customers to chat with each other freely. Just use the music as background.
We haven’t tried the food because the time we were there the food was limited and we were informed that food ordering was halt due to so many orders. We have drinks instead, hot chocolate and Iced brewed coffee.
The wrong order came in after 20 minutes so we have to wait for another 5 minutes. The hot chocolate was washy (sa bisaya pa lasaw, and yes I googled it hehehe) even if we stirred it. They gave me an iced latte instead of the iced brewed coffee but it’s fine because it tastes good.
In fairness to the staff, they are friendly and accommodating. I think they have not anticipated the number of people that day, it was a Sunday afternoon (if they do then that is such a bummer) that’s why they were overwhelmed by the influx of people.
It could’ve been nice to be there early in the morning. When the air is cold, fewer people, food available for order and I can enjoy every sip of my coffee and not worrying about the long line of people waiting. Well, there is always a next time.
